Bill McGregor |
First elected to the Board in 2003, Bill has actively participated in the tremendous growth and success of FFCA. During his 28-year career managing child welfare programs, he learned the value of relationships, the importance of character, and the beauty of learning. Bill believes in commitment, and hard work, leading by example, laughter, and having fun. Bill is a passionate advocate for FFCA, and all Alberta’s charter schools, and the proud father of five sons.
Bill continues his commitment to:
· champion permanence for charter schools
· foster healthy relationships within FFCA between governance and operations
· grow an awareness and recognition of charter schools among elected decision makers, and all Albertans
· support FFCA’s committed staff in their work of continuous improvement to provide our students with the best education possible “

Gerry joined the Board in 2006, and is currently serving as Co-Vice-Chair. He is also a member of the Community Relations Committee, which is charged with board communications with all stakeholders.
Throughout his 25 year sales and marketing career, Gerry has learned the value of a positive attitude and also the delicate balance between persistence and patience; all traits which are very useful as we continue to proactively advance the cause of charter schools in Alberta.
Gerry is a data communications consultant by day, designing and delivering complex network solutions to a wide variety of clients. He brings an analytical approach, a “can-do” attitude and excellent communication skills to the board table.
“I feel privileged to play even a small part in helping to achieve the tremendous successes we seem to regularly rack up as a system. We have a great track record and a very bright future, but there is still a lot of work to do for us to get there”
