Upcoming Board Elections

Attention: All FFCA Stakeholders

The Board is officially making a call for candidates to join the FFCA Board of Directors. As part of continuity planning, the board is adding three (3) board positions. The election will be held on December 20th at the AGM. More information will follow on how families can vote.

There will be an opportunity for a meet and greet with existing board members to further discuss the role of a director and expectations the organization would have for them. The Board has assessed its skills and has determined that there are four key areas where a skill gap exists. It would be beneficial to the organization if an individual with legal expertise, communications, accounting expertise (CPA designation with expertise in audit or tax), marketing and stakeholder relations (e.g. investor relations, government relations etc.). That said, we encourage all interested candidates to seek election, ultimately, it is our stakeholders that decide!

Here are a few key dates:

November 15th  Board Meet & Greet at Central Office @ 7pm to 9pm

November 29th Board Meet & Greet at Central Office @ 7pm to 9pm

November 30th Candidate Registration deadline @ 12pm (noon)

December 13th Candidates Live Forum at Central Office @ 7:30pm

December 20th Election Day
