The School Act allows for certain fees to be collected for instructional supplies and materials provided for the student’s personal use or consumption. The fees charged are usually on a shared-cost basis between the parent/guardian and Foundations for the Future Charter Academy.
The fees listed below will remain in effect for the 2017-18 school year.
Current Fee Structure:
Annual Resource Fees:
Kindergarten - $115.00
Grades 1 to 6 - $145.00
Grades 7 to 12 - $195.00
Family Maximum $450.00
Families who qualify for the Resource Fee Subsidy will be expected to pay $50.00/student.
Annual Transportation Fees:
Grades 1 to 12 (two-way) $855.00
Grades 1 to 12 (one-way) $770.00
Shuttle between campuses $200 (one-way)
Family Maximum $2285.00
Families who qualify for the Transportation Fee Subsidy will be expected to pay $325.00/student.
The transportation fees are non-refundable after January 31st due to service levels FFCA has contracted with the bus companies.
Additionally, the middle schools ($100) and high school ($125) charge a textbook deposit fee that is refundable if all school owned property under the student’s responsibility are returned to the campus when the student leaves FFCA.
The middle schools charge an activity fee for grades 5 & 6 ($80) and grades 7 & 8 ($200) that covers option costs and the yearbook.
