Wait List / Lottery Application

You can add your child to the wait list as soon as you have his/her birth certificate. You will use the same application regardless of their age or grade and up to four children can be added to the same application. Applications may be submitted year round, and must include a copy of the birth certificate and a recent report card, if the child is already in school.

Print the form below, fill it out and mail to the address provided on the application with the required documents. You will receive a confirmation by email within 3 weeks.

If a child has completed their Kindergarten year in another school, they currently experience a 5 to 7 year wait (up to 10 years in the North).

Lottery System Information

*Updated June 8th, 2017*

In order to create an opportunity for all families that would like to join the FFCA community, we have implemented a Weighted Lottery System for any student added to the wait list on or after October 1st, 2016 who does not have sibling or priority status. For every year that your child's application is renewed, your child will receive an additional entry into the lottery. The lottery system will not take effect until the year 2022/23 for kindergarten students and possibly 5 to 7 years after that for grade level students because we have to exhaust all currently ranked children on the wait list before implementing a lottery system. Have a look at the Question and Answer PDF document below for additional information. Please note: if there are discrepancies between the 4 versions of the PDF, the official version is in English.
