The FFCA Board election will take place online December 10-11, 2025. The Board was thrilled to receive such a strong response from our community, with many excellent applications reflecting the passion and commitment of our Society members. Seeing such keen interest in supporting FFCA’s mission was truly inspiring, and we thank everyone who took the time to apply.
The FFCA Board plays a crucial role in overseeing the governance of the organization to ensure it operates in the best interests of our students and our community. Strong governance relies on collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to FFCA’s mission, vision, and values, and this year’s recommended candidates embody those qualities. After careful consideration, and following a recent candidate withdrawal, our Board’s Election Committee is pleased to recommend the following candidates for your consideration (listed in Alphabetical Order): Aly Bhimji and Jenn Widney.
We are confident that these individuals bring the expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication required to support FFCA’s goals and provide effective governance. While these recommendations are presented to help guide your decision, Society members are free to vote for up to 3 of the 9 eligible candidates. The candidates receiving the most and second-most votes will be elected to the Board. Following the election, the Board will appoint one additional director as per its bylaws. In the past, the election results have been used to help inform the Board’s appointments, and they will again be a consideration this year.
