The Fraser Institute just released its school report cards for 2017-18. FFCA High School continued its 13-year improvement trend earning its highest rating ever scoring 9.3/10. FFCA High School is now the 5th ranked school in Alberta and, once again, the highest ranked public high school in Calgary!

In addition, our middle school campuses earned a rating of 8.3/10 improving from 7.9 the year previous placing them in the top 6% of 852 Alberta schools where they have been consistently over the past five years.

The Fraser Institute ratings are based on grade six provincial achievement tests and grade 12 diploma examinations results and we are very proud of our students who have demonstrated this level of achievement. We are also extremely proud to know that they obtained these results in a school which focuses on much more than just academics. Our students come from a wide variety of backgrounds representing the great diversity of the citizens of Calgary and they continually demonstrate excellence in arts education, physical education, technical education, character and leadership in an environment characterized by strong parental partnerships and a culture of community.

Achievement at this level is only possible with the synergy created by staff, students and parents in FFCA working together to make the educational experience for our students the absolutely best one possible. Congratulations to our students and thanks to everyone who works to support them.
