The FFCA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the ‘Unsung Hero’ annual scholarship has been renamed “The Shelley Schroh Memorial Unsung Hero Scholarship” in memory of Shelly who served on the Board of Directors for eleven years in a variety of roles including one year as Board Chair. Incredibly, in that time, Shelley did not miss a single meeting, and continued to attend every public meeting after retiring from the Board in January 2019.
Cindy McGlashan-Beaucage, former Board Chair who served alongside Shelley for nine years, had the following to share about her friend and colleague: “Shelley’s passion, dedication, and love for FFCA inspired all of us on and around the Board. Her tireless commitment came from her absolute belief in our students and staff. Shelley was a force that made us stronger; one we will never forget.”
Any FFCA parent interested in making a contribution towards the scholarship may do so by logging into the Family Login and going to the Pay Fees screen. Anyone else interested in making a contribution towards the scholarship may do so by mailing a cheque to FFCA.
