It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Mrs. Michelle Newell as Associate Principal at the North High School Campus beginning April 8, 2024.
Mrs. Newell joined FFCA in 2008 teaching Math and Science at SMS. She also taught Science and Chemistry at the High School Campus and served as the Science Department Coordinator. Most recently, she has worked as Associate Principal at NWE since 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Acadia University as well as a Master of Education from the University of Alberta.
Mrs. Newell shares the following thought on taking on this new role: “It has been great to work at NWE to see where students’ education begins, and I am excited to return to high school with the understanding of this foundation. I look forward to working alongside the NHS staff in this next stage of growth and am enthusiastic about welcoming many new staff, students, and families to FFCA.”
We are extremely pleased that she has accepted this new challenge.
