Lifting Others Up by: Gr. 4 Team SEE
In the spirit of SEE’s Term Two character trait, compassion, grade 4 students made cards to send to seniors in a nearby community. We talked about lifting others up by simple acts of kindness especially this year where spending time with loved ones will not be possible. Students wrote heartfelt notes and carefully illustrated their cards.
After the cards were dropped off, we received this message back which was an amazing way for students to see the difference their cards made:
“Thank you so much. Your kids did great and we are so appreciative. What kind messages! Many of them have said “we rise by lifting others”. I love that message. The illustrations are very well done by all!
Thank you, FFCA Grade 4s!
You will “lift” a lot of people this year with your kindness and make a lot of people smile. On behalf of all of us at the McKenzie Towne retirement home, thank you.
Stay healthy, stay smiling and clean your hands 😊
Love,
