GRAHAM CHURCHER (DIRECTOR)
Graham has four FFCA kids: 1 is now a professional, 1 is completing her Masters in Animal biology and 2 are currently attending the South Middle School. He is a big believer in the effectiveness of the FFCA charter, along with it's school system that helped them each develop their strong, individual identities. He proudly advocates the value of our charter school to fellow parents and organizations around the city, particularly in the charter of FFCA built on developing character, citizenship, and leadership in our kids.
After growing up in the UK and working for 10 years at the largest financial institution in Europe, he immigrated with his family to Calgary in 2001. Graham has worked in the Canadian utility industry as an Information Technology professional for over 22 years, has multiple certifications in cybersecurity, and is an active member of the cybersecurity community around North America. His current role as the Director of Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure of a large utility company exposes him to complex and critical technology challenges daily.
"Thank you for choosing me as a member of the FFCA Board of Directors. I am passionate about securing future opportunities for our schools and am pleased to be able to share my experience and knowledge to support the needs of our organization. Cybersecurity, artificial-intelligence and digital privacy are topics that I believe are becoming life skills everyone needs to learn – our students and staff. I am excited to also help continue the efforts of the board and administration in securing more spaces for students of all grades in the south, while we continue to innovatively address opportunities in the north.
