The following materials explain the rules and expectations for employees as well as the legislated regulations for teacher.

This Employment Handbook provides relevant employment information but does not constitute a contract between FFCA and its employees. FFCA reserves the right to change policies, working conditions and benefits as set forth in this handbook. Employment handbooks are given to every new employee. Revisions will be posted when they occur. If there is a discrepancy between the employees' copy and the version posted here; this copy will be the correct version.

    The Alberta Education website houses all information regarding curriculum and resources, as well as publications created by AE for teachers, parents and students.

  • Riggs Institute 
    Teachers of Kindergarten through Grade 4 use 'The Writing and Spelling Road to Reading and Thinking' as the primary resource for teaching reading and spelling.

  • Open Court Reading 
    Teachers of Kindergarten through Grade 6 use Open Court Reading as the primary resource for Language Arts instruction.
