Board-Approved Fees

The Education Act allows for certain fees to be collected for instructional supplies and materials provided for the student's personal use or consumption.

Current Fee Structure:

For the 2020-2021 school year, the following fees are in effect:

Annual Resource Fee ​means a comprehensive fee subsidizing the cost of basic instructional resources used by students which may include, but not limited to: workbooks, photocopying, technology consumables, paper, Art consumables (K-9), student insurance, Licensing Fees (ie Copyright, Library, etc.) and other general consumables. 

Kindergarten - $115.00

Grades 1 to 6 - $145.00

Grades 7 to 12 - $195.00

Family Maximum $450.00

Families who qualify for the Resource Fee Subsidy will be expected to pay $50.00/student.

Annual Transportation Fees:

Kindergarten $425.00

Grades 1 to 12 (two-way) $855.00

Grades 1 to 12 (one-way) $770.00

Shuttle between campuses $200 (one-way)

Family Maximum $2285.00

Families who qualify for the Transportation Fee Subsidy will be expected to pay $325.00/student.

The transportation fees are non-refundable after January 31st due to service levels FFCA has contracted with the bus companies.

Other Fees:

Additionally, the middle schools ($100) and high school ($125) charge a textbook deposit fee that is refundable if all school owned property under the student's responsibility are returned to the campus when the student leaves FFCA.

The middle schools charge an activity fee for grades 5 & 6 ($80) and grades 7 & 8 ($200) that covers physical education activities such as in-line skating, skiing/snow boarding and rock climbing, includes cost of transportation.  Also it covers the yearbook and Spanish activities.
