Charter Review (Year 12 of our 15-year Charter, 2012-2027)
In fall of 2023, FFCA underwent a Charter Review administered by Alberta Education as part of our Charter Renewal process. We are grateful to the FFCA families, students, staff and Board members who participated in the focus groups with Alberta Education as part of this process. In January, we received an exemplary final report in all areas of evaluation from Alberta Education on the review!

AB Schools Ranked according to Provincial Test Results
The annual Fraser Institute School Rankings Report (Alberta) was released with great news for FFCA! These rankings are based on standardized grade 3, 6, and 12 Provincial test results. They also include graduation and transition rates.
Our high school campuses SHS and NHS are the number one and two publicly funded high schools in Calgary!
Our six Middle and Elementary campus results are combined in the report. FFCA received an overall ranking of 28 / 858 schools in Alberta. This is our highest ever Elementary Schools ranking and places FFCA at the 97th percentile provincially.
We want to recognize and commend our staff and senior leadership for their hard work on a daily basis that contributes to FFCA’s ongoing academic and organizational excellence.
