FFCA has announced that Rachel will become the new Principal Educator of Southeast Elementary Campus starting August 2026, following the retirement of Krista Lee. Rachel has been with FFCA since 2004 and is currently Associate Principal at SEE. She brings extensive teaching and leadership experience, along with strong ties to the school community. Rachel shared that she is excited to step into the role and looks forward to working closely with students, families, and staff. FFCA is pleased to have her take on this new leadership position.

The Association of Alberta Public Charter Schools (TAAPCS) initiated the Board of Governors' Award to recognize and thank those from within the association who have given their time, energy, influence and expertise to enhancing the charter school promise.

The Board is officially making a call for candidates to join the FFCA Board of Directors.

The Fraser Institute just released its school report cards for 2017-18. FFCA High School continued its 13-year improvement trend earning its highest rating ever scoring 9.3/10.
