  • See the Transportation Parent Handbook, under "Transportation Documents" below, for updated COVID policies and procedures.

There may be delays in bus service due to weather conditions, mechanical problems or traffic congestion. Signing up for the MyBusStop App (Southland) OR a Bus Broadcast Subscription (Willco) will alert you when the busses are running late or have been cancelled - this must be done ANNUALLY in September. Occasionally, the delays can be lengthy so please have a back-up plan and discuss it with your child/ren regularly. Instructions to sign up for Southland or Willco are below.

Our Southland buses now have GPS. Each September, the campuses will post a school code on Edsby in order to allow you to sign up for Southland's bus tracking app. MyBusStop will provide you with real-time school bus location and reporting. Click the link to access the instructions for the MyBusStop App. PDF Instructions

If your child is transported by a WILLCO bus (NWE and some NMS students) you can sign up for the bus delay system, even if you have signed up for this in the past you must sign up again. Log into FFCA's Family Zone site, click on 'BUS SUBSCRIPTIONS' and you can enter your ten digit cell number (to receive text message alert) and\or your email address (to receive an email alert). PDF Instructions

2020/21 Routes will not be posted due to the new processes involved with the pandemic

Changes cannot be accommodated for the 20/21 year.

Found under "Transportation Documents." Bus Policies and Procedures for parent's information.

Found under "Transportation Documents." For parents of children in Kindergarten or Grade one. Please fill out and return to your campus if you want to allow your child to disembark with an older sibling or a person other than a parent.

If your family is moving to a home that is outside the boundary of your child's current campus, your child may remain at that campus but you will be responsible for transporting your child to and from school. Bussing is not available outside the designated campus boundaries. If you require transportation, you will need to apply for an internal transfer to the campus designated for your new address. The deadline is March 1, 2021 to be considered for the 2021/22 year. If you would like to have your child on the internal transfer list for the 21/22, the process has changed. The transfer requests are now done through the Online Wait List system. Internal transfer Requests will precede all wait list students (including priority status and siblings). If the requested campus is unable to accommodate your student, he/she will still have a guaranteed seat at the current campus for 21/22. Please see the following link for the instructions to request a transfer on our new system.

Please note:

  • transfers do not occur mid-year
  • transfers can only occur if a seat becomes available in the requested campus (possible wait of up to 6 years)
  • we may not be able to accommodate all children in the same family
